Looking to go to PORC in the next couple weeks and was wondering if my 150mm travel hardtail would be fine there? My local riding spot is Aston Hill, how is PORC compared to aston hill in terms of jumps, techy bits and steepness?

And how much is it to ride there? Do I need to book?

    Cheers.

This is very outdated info but I thought I’d throw my 2p in anyway.

They used to do a southern dh series there and there was a hardtail category. There were some fair sized jumps but wasn’t particularly steep or tech. It’s a sort of sandy clay soil so can get a bit slippery when very wet.

It used to be around the £5 per day, and didn’t have to book just turn up and pay at the hut / cafe thing.

I’ve raced there on one, albeit quite a while ago. You’ll be fine.
