I was in Aldi today and they had some MTB shorts in the sale for £12.99 so I grabbed a pair. The outer is polyamide. I’ve not heard of this material does anyone know what it’s qualities are? Thanks.

Are they the baggies? The chief qualities of the Aldi baggy ones I had were that they fell down a lot and then split open at the crotch.

Ha ha. They’re not very baggy. They look like USMC desert camouflage with a big padded detachable liner. The padding is quite heavy duty and it feels a bit like wearing a nappy (I’d imagine)!. I’m going to put them through their paces tomorrow so I can post a review of them then. I don’t spend much on cycle clothing really, just the bike.
