Police appeal after abuse shouted at cyclist in Newcastle
Police are appealing for information after a car passenger shouted abuse at a cyclist in Newcastle city centre.
It happened at 1:30pm on Wednesday, 26th November when a passenger, a man, in a white Audi car shouted abuse at a passing cyclist at Queen Victoria Road.
The passenger then got out of the car and was abusive towards the cyclist, a man aged 40.
The suspect is described as white, aged about 25, about 5ft 10ins tall of stocky build, with short shaved light brown hair. He was wearing a black jacket with a sweat shirt underneath and grey jogging bottom.
It’s believed there were other people in the area at the time of the incident and police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
