    i have an old polar protrainer nv (bought in the 90's) and the chest transmitter has stopped transmitting.

    can it be repaired, or if not where's the cheapest place to buy one? thanks

    Buy a soft 'Wear Link' strap, they're much more comfortable, and the battery is user replaceable next time.

    see the repair guide posted recently – the old style sensor belts are much better than the wearlinks.
