I was feeling a bit like it was just tv exec’s trying to ‘get an angle’ on the thing for the 10th anniversary and fully expected a ‘pets of 9/11’ tv show to come on.
Then I heard this;

Personal, observant and human.
His summary of the results on American foreign policy of the last 10 years is damning.
To use September 11 to instill fear in a population at home and a clarion call for jingoistic excess abroad seems, to me, to be a betrayal of that days tragic dignity.
I find myself moved in a way I didn’t think I would be and, in a way that endless reruns of the towers collapsing no longer does, perhaps because the shock of seeing it has been dulled by a decade of reptition.
