wtf is all that about…..’pleasure beach resort’….. its still in god dam Blackpool, yet they dont tell you where it is on the tv adverts…. “mummy where is pleasure beach resort” …oh its somewhere near to a windmill and theres a big Tower, but we cant mention ‘Blackpool’

It’s not to everyone’s taste but has its good and bad points. Having lived there I can vouch for one or two decent chip shops, and the beaches aren’t bad for a stroll.

‘Pleasure Beach Resort’ makes it sound vaguely as if it could be somewhere nice. Each one of those words creates a nice feeling. ‘Blackpool’ might not do that any more. It’s all about the marketing.
