Me and a buddy want to do a bit of riding tonight.
We will be setting off from Accrington.
The plan so far is that we are going to ride to burnley and maybe onto colne. But i am trying to find some trails that we could ride to try and make the road ride a little less pointless. or maybe a decent off road loop? any suggestions?

Head up to the Coppice, out the back, under the M66 and then over the tops to pick up the MTL?

Pick up the tacks up to the Coppice next to Whitakers on Burnley road.. opposite the graveyad.

the only decent way is to go up moleside, over hambledon, past the radar station and drop down to loveclough. pick up the trails from clowbridge res and head towards clough bottom res. from here you can pick up the pennie bridalway and go over towards worsthorne. the section from moleside to loveclough will be a complete boggy mess though.
