I never realized how bloody ugly the c456 is until this thread.
Downtube has a distinct sag…it has bingo wing

Question, is it true (Bikeradar) that the rear really is too stiff/beats your hands up on descents??

Absolutely none (what they said was that the frame is too flexible, yet simultaneously too stiff… What I reckon is, the fork was knackered and they were too busy looking for things to say about the frame for that to register. The thing about having to stop halfway down rocky descents to shake out your arms is just gibberish tbh. (and giving it as many stars as they did, despite saying that, was gibberish too… Is it unrideably crap, or not?)

    Anyway. Best ignored.

    That’s somebody’s pride and joy you’re insulting.

You’re They’re obviously not shy so don’t worry about it
Well, if it was mine, I certainly wouldn’t own up to it.
Mine looks quite drab by comparison

That Whippet is the funniest thing I’ve seen on here in ages.

Who would do such a thing???

I’m going to have to scroll up for another look … but I feel strangely guilty.

The downtube isn’t the prettiest but I can see the reasoning.

I believe they have shaped it like that to help deflect stones/rockes or at least present them with a surface they are more likely to deflect off.

    I like it personally.

I could do with a set of those scales.

22.96 Gerald, was lighter with SLR saddle but I guess the scales could be out.
