It would appear all the good will & brilliance is going to be undone by what is so far absolutely god awful.

From the point of view of the opening ceremony you got the impression that every single angle was planned covered & directed so as a viewer at home you were getting an experience probably as good if not better than being there as you knew exactly where to look. This time no such luck, & why have a ‘band’ that mimed?!

TBF Danny Boyle nailed the opening so this was always going to be an also ran, like French cycling 😛
