    Hey,

got a bit of play in the hub… what sort of price will I be looking at if I take it to a shop to have the bearings sorted?

I know it’s not the best hub, but had the wheel rebuilt not long ago so not looking to swap it out just yet.

Also, is it easy to do yourself and if so where do I get the bearings?

    Cheers

It may just need adjustment, it may need bearings and/or cones too.

“should” be available from bike shops. 15mm cone spanner and 17mm or adjustable to dissemble and adjust.

Some find it easy, some a nightmare. If you are OK with mechanics generally you should manage it.

    Thanks for the reply.

Pretty good at fettling most of my bike, but haven’t touched a hub before. Do I need special tools for the hub to adjust it?
