Hello,

I bought some new Egg Beater SLs a week ago, out of the box the left pedal has play in the spring – therefore the wings move back and forward by about 3mm, so when clipped in it feels like the crank arms are loose.

Has anyone had this problem, and is there an easy fix? other than just chucking them back at CB for repair?

Pop the end cap off and there’s a nut. I’d assume it’s loose.

Sweet. I’ll probably strip it down anyway and give it a good grease to get the best life out of them for now.

Love the action, hate the poor build quality.
