I took my secondhand RC40 apart last night and serviced it so it now works nice and smoothly but I did notice that the two “plastic threshold spring bearings” referred to in the manual are missing. By my reckoning, without these, this effectively reduces the maximum amount of threshold you can apply to the launch control which is why mine releases too easily.

Can someone tell me how thick these are – they’re easy enough to make a replacement for from some spare plastic.

Also, how much oil do you put in – the “oil fill levels” document on the Pace site suggests 100ml, the manual refers to 130ml as the capacity and the older RC40 manual talks about half the oil being 55ml (eg 110ml in total).
