We’re looking to purchase shutters for the upstairs bedroom and living room and having done a little research, looks to be a fairly simple job to do myself.

Has anyone had a go at fitting their own? What material did you go for?

Would you recommend wood (Basswood, Poplar) over MDF or Vinyl?

Any advice / pics of your own projects appreciated.
