i’ve had Plantar fasciitis for a few weeks after doing long walks on dartmoor.

Will cycling aggravate it, It doesnt hurt when I’m cycling but afterwards it does but i’m not sure whether it was due to walking or cycling as I do some walking to get to my bike etc.

    Walking hurts.

I searched this forum, theres one article that talks about it hurting going over roots and getting suspension.

should I stay off the bike for a while ?

Podiatrist will sort you out. I had it about 4 years ago and with a bit of treatment/exercise/insoles i’ve had no pain whatsoever since.
The thread you mentioned is somebody justifying a new bike to themselves/wife.

My wife has had real problems with this when walking but she reckons that cycling actually does what the podiatrist says and stretches the offending foot bits [if your cleats are correctly positioned ].
It took about 3-4 months before she saw any improvement, using sole inserts for walking with.
