are these heavy bikes?

Probably just me but they look quite weighty (i dont know why i think that really maybe its just the tubing or the colour or something!) Seem a good price though so am thinking of one if they're not…

They're not exactly light, but certainly no heavier than any other alloy cross frame for under £500. I had one, nice little bike.

I've got one. I've never ridden another CX to compare it against but it is gossamer-like compared to my Inbred and FSR.

It took a while to get used to (position on bars/hoods, immense speed, canti-brakes) but I love it. It climbs like a goat too.
