    look at this pic

    taken using homemade pinhole with 35mm camera, is this possble with a digital? maybe using a modified lens cap?, photo experts please advise

    quite easy to make from a spare body cap and a coke can or just buy one ready made on ebay.

    that shot looks remarkably sharp for a 4 second exposure.

    I expect the sensor in anything but a medium format digital camera will be too small. I'm sure I read that the "pixels" on the sensor don't work at very high f numbers.

    Cardboard box, tin foil and some proper B&W paper is the way to do it.

    body cap pin holes work fine on digital slrs. they ususlly work out simular to a 50mm ish lense . I have made loads.

    the pinhole is made in a small square of coke can and taped over a hole in the body cap. use a manual setting for the shutter/iso

    ever tried using a flatbed scanner for taking images ? Great for small items , gives a shallow depth of field too.http://digital-photography-school.com/how-to-use-your-flatbed-scanner-as-digital-camera
