I changed the spring over on my forks a few weeks ago. Since then it seems the U-turn travel adjust slips down in use, ie it is set to 140mm, but after a ride I find it set to 120mm. I can wind it back out again, but it seems to keep happening.

    Anyone know what’s causing it?

    Cheers

did you lose any of the ball bearings from the knob – or maybe put em in the wrong holes (does it still “click” like it did ?)

I tried searching, can’t seem to find the thread.

scaredypants – thinking about it, it doesn’t click any more – think I might have lost one of the ballbearings/springs. Anyone know where I can get some more?

Hmm, this was my problem, and it was me who made the recent thread. I hadn’t lost the springs and ball bearings though so knew it wasn’t that. Essentially what i did was remove the u turn adjuster and take out the ball bearings and stretch the little springs underneath by a couple of mm. Took it out for a few hours yesterday and travel remains the same as when i started.

First port of call will be to check for ball bearings/springs.
