TheArtistFormerlyKnownAsSTR…. quite a contrast there… nice swoopy hydroformed bike meets very angled living room, including aquarium….what you got in it? Both modern but opposite. Is it the photo angle or have you got miss-matched tyres on there?

The aquarium only has Mountain Minnows, introduced from a cold water tank. Everything else we introduce dies. We've done everything by the book, so we're off to get the water tested (again) this weekend.

As for tyres, the crappy angle exaggerates it, but yes, I have a Fire FR 2.4 on the front and a Fire XC 2.1 on the back. Gonna switch to 2.3 Eskars all round I think, as they are a bit mismatched – the difference is way more than 0.3 of an inch, which is surprising, as they are variants of essentially the same tyre.

frame & forks bought from the Classified on here a month or so ago & the rest from other donor bike!

Light tourer – touring was very light indeed as it turned out.

This is mine, a Trek Fuel EX8, only bought it last week.
I can't ride it as I am still recovering from a broken wrist.

The only change so far is the pedals, from Crank Brother Candy to Shimano XT but more to come.
