Anyone know anything about the construction? Maybe damaged or pulled one apart?
Last winter I held the front mudguard on with a bit of 3M super Velcro under the fork. Worked ok but unsightly and it took up some space. I did ask here but got little response about drilling up through the fork to allow me to drop a nut from above or even a glued threaded insert. Mixed responses which were fair enough.
A year later and the cables have rubbed a touch of carbon, or maybe paint, to show that there is some alloy around the crown of the fork.
The steerer is carbon but obviously there is alloy in there somewhere.
I am still thinking of a small vertical hole but am naturally cautious of creating terminal damage. Anyone got any thoughts?
    Brant maybe?
