Just a couple I took the other day that I’ve highly over processed, first time I’ve taken any photos in ages 😆

Saw very similar scene on Askham common last night Tom.
    Loads of wild greys.

One of the upsides to a spot of early morning wakening is the sunrises.
Two shots with fuji provia RDPIII on a Hasselblad 500 c/m, stitched with PTGui.

nice work – Wild greys 😆

Interested to hear – How did you handle the potter pic? – planned sitting, one click , a few tries, opp just came up.. sort of thing, not so much the lens, stock etc..

Just being nosy – particularly like what you capture on ppl shots – never quite seem to pull them off over here.. Maybe you just work hard and are very patient 💡

    chance shot.
On my way back from a cycle, went for a nosy, he was working, spoke for 10-15 mins then asked him if he minded me taking a shot.
set camera up then carried on talking while he worked.
He couldn’t work, talk and pay attention to the camera, took two shots, the one above and one closer with more of the pot and his hands.

Proud of this one because I got out exploring again after far too long procrastinating:

    The report: http://catchingphotons.co.uk/blog/industrial/basf-paisley/

Plus I got a phone call from Paisley Police telling me to not do it again 😉

Just made the front cover of a magazine (over 100k circulation apparently).

Not a particularly exciting photo mind…

Sunset last night. Ran a quick errand on my bike, thought, I should take my camera in case I see something interesting.

Haven’t taken the decent camera out for a while, this was my favourite one, Top of the World, Whistler.

First ever attempt at using a DSLR. Borrowed a canon eos 1100D for scenes like this whilst on my holiday.

Although this is nowhere near as good as most of the other pictures on this thread, I am really pleased with it. Taken using the standard 18-55mm lens. The wife is also impressed with the quality, so much so she doesn’t like our current compact camera any more, and is already looking at getting something much better.

Three images stitched together for this one. These were taken from just in front of my tent on Horgabost Beach, Isle of Harris a few weeks back.

Ok, this is nowhere near as good as other photos here, and indeed is really a video, but my first go at a spot of time lapse.
