So I want something fairly cheap so that I can play my (MM cartridged) deck in my kitchen through a Bose iPod speaker, which has a mini-jack aux in but an almost unuseable vlume control, so some kind of level control is needed. A USB out would be useful, but I’m prob too lazy to use it lol. I found this

But £90 seems a litle pricey! Is there anything else out there?

I bought a Behringer PP400 Preamp for £20 from Amazon to connect a rega with MM to a micro system – works fine. You’ll need a phono to 3.5mm miniplug lead.
