Now I have broken my habit of riding with a camelbak, when riding DH, I now carry my phone in my pocket – not necessarily because I may want to use it, but more a case of not wanting to leave it in an unattended car. The trouble is it is quite vulnerable in the event of a crash and I was wondering if you used anything to protect it.

The phone is always fitted with a gel cover, but it doesn’t protect the screen. However, most armoured covers I’m seen are quite bulky and would probably be annoying in my pocket.

    Any recommendations?

The phone is a Sony Arc S, by the way.

I always carry mine in a Phone Sock

Or you could use and old sock that you dont use anymore- these ones are a bit more padded though.
Combined with your gel cover, it should be tough enough 😀

    That’s probably a decent shout.

They don’t appear to do Otterboxes for Sony phones 🙁
