    Since saturday morning I have had no dial tone on my landline phone, the broadband has been pretty poor too, 200-400 kbps, compared to 2-3 mbps, this is after several months of really bad interference,

    anyway, I phoned sky and they said the line was fine, tried different phones and filters, no change, removed bt socket cover and plugged directly into line, no change,

    waiting for sky to do something, their 72hr response is up tomorrow morning,

    I noticed the line connects to a box on the house next door and so on, down the terrace, until the last house, also only 2 small wires come into our house, not the usual 8 or more pairs of wires in the loom,

    I am thinking the increased interference might be due to more houses in our terrace getting broadband and that we are possibly sharing some sort of botched line set up,
    Any ideas?
    What’s my next step if sky don’t do anything?
    I guess they are in the hands of bt wholesale, who will probably try to install a new line?
