As the title really – have trawled the net and can’t see anywhere where it says it has re-opened following the closure due to ‘Doris’ a couple of weeks ago?

Me and the lads were supposed to be travelling down from Stoke on Saturday so needed an alternative plan if it’s closed.

    Cheers,
    Lee

More than likely, check out the FB page.

The Marin is an alternative and I’ve not heard that CYB is closed either.

    Cheers for the replies!

Nothing on Facebook (I’d already tried there), good shout re beics brenin – I’ll call them them tomorrow!

Re Marin – for all its plus points I just don’t like the endless fire road climbing for what doesn’t seem like much reward overall!

Coed Y Brenin was the other option but we’ve done there to death.

Penmachno always feel like an adventure so it’ll be a shame if we can’t go

Loads of non trail centre routes, go natural instead!

To be honest we should do some ‘natural’ riding but there isn’t anyone in the group who is good with an ordinance map and we all just like to follow way-marked routes so we can enjoy the ride and the craic without wondering if we’re on the right track 😉

Cheers for the input – don’t suppose the Ranger gave any estimate when Penmachno would be clear?

Johnnystorm would you care to join me and around 5 other riders to show us some trails around that area?

    Bones76, I’d love to…..but I’m back in Suffolk now. 😐

Tom Hutton’s Wales guide book has some good routes though. 😀
