I'm going to be at the folk's place in Chesterfield for Christmas and would like to ride in the Peaks while I'm there. So, does anyone have plans around Hope / Hathersage / Ladybower / Jacob's / Cut Gate area for the 27th?

If not, I'd like to start something and would suggest meeting in Hope for 10am. Up Win Hill, along the tops and down the Beast, cross the A57 and up the other side to descend '*that one that goes past the Outdoor Pursuits Centre*', up the slabbed climb and down Moontrail or cheeky one behind Ladybower Inn, and back.

Any takers / other suggestions?

I'm in, anyone heading up from Derby fancy offering a lift? I know the trains cheep and easy, but if your going let me know.
