Great ride this morning Macc Forest and Cat and fiddle. Made better by tea and crumpets at the peak view and a organic buffolo burger for lunch at Nice Nosh in the forest. The lady opened the tea room early for me and remembered me even though I.ve not been up for ages. Perfect half way stop on my ride.

The ice cream farm out the other end of the Wildboarclough valley is worth a stop off too (before you get to Gradbach on the main road) for tea and cakes around there, and there are plenty of roadie haunts in that neck of the woods too.
