I have been on a grand tour of Britain trying to get away from the Snow! I am now back in the Peaks and looking at riding out of Hope tomorrow. Does anyone know what it is like. I know the Snake Pass and Woodhead Pass were closed earlier (heard on travel news) – is it rideable. i.e. less than say 2-3 inches on the ground?

Any local knowledge appreciated, no snow in the White Peak, just b***dy wet!

went for a ride up the broken road and over Rushup edge and onto Chapel Gate, quite a bit of pushing, cold and very icy, but still fun.

Snowing like hell here now. No riding today.
