i’m looking to buy a car this weekend (privately) using my credit card which is 0% interest. however only on purchases, NOT money transfers.

does anybody know if paypal is classed as a purchase or money transfer?

You still have to pay the fees if the money isn’t coming out of your linked bank account.

I have my credit card linked to paypal for buying. Every purchase has been treated as a purchase not a money transfer.

how long does it take to link your credit card to paypal? as i’m yet to do this..

Are you trying to use your credit card to pay yourself, so you can get cash? if so then you would have to pay the fees as you can’t send a Gift payment (fee free) from a Credit Card.
If you are just making a straight forward purchase with your credit card via Paypal then you will be fine.
