    Does it make any difference if I collect an item?

    A buyer collected from me a couple of weeks ago,he saw the bike,no problems,he bought it and paid me there and then through paypal,can work out better sometimes,none of this sent and scammed crap.

    All they need to do is say parcel never arrived and you are screwed.

    I expected that to be a lot more difficult to find, visions of wading through pages of legalese. Sorry for wasting everybody’s time.

    As Mike says, you want to avoid doing this. It opens you up to getting nobbled via an Item Not Received Dispute. As they can prove they paid for the item, but you cannot prove you have handed over the goods.

    Next time PPGift or BT if you want to do it electronically.

    …of course this is assume everyone is on the rob.
