heading to pateley bridge area on sat. Looking for suggestions for a good old fashioned "big day out in the hills" type ride.

Not ridden there before so any map links, must do bridleway's or mem map routes would be great. or Just an idea of what's good and what to avoid would help in planning a route!

    cheers!

Did this one the other week, fair bit of road cycling but an enjoyable route all the same.

Can be extended if you start in Wath or even Pately itself but the best parts of the ride are covered in the map above.

I think you should find out yourself before qualifying your existence by denouncing the daily mail, posting pictures of a single speed related tattoo and make rash ill-informed and unfounded comments about the quality or lack of of a component you have never even used, but saw a mate of a mate once break whilst just leaning his bike against a hedge.

The classic Ramsgill, Middlesmoor, Scar House Reservoir, Shooting Lodge, Descent into Ramsgill route is one of the best in the area, especially on a nice day. Great trails, good climbs, good descents and fantastic views.

The route is published all over the place (it's in MBR every other month) it shouldn't be too hard to pick up somewhere.

    Enjoy!
