I’ve just got around to installing Skyrim on my PC and there’s information online about various patches but I can’t actually find any online to download. Do I need to download and install patches or is it done automatically through Steam (it’s been a while since I played a Steam based game)?

Dunno about Skyrim specifically, but everything I’ve ever installed via Steam has patched automatically. IIRC you can force updates from the Games menu within Steam too.

As said if it’s on Steam it’ll patch as needed.

That could have possibly been my one chance to be useful irbid forum but too slow! Enjoy it it’s a fantastic game.

Check out these people as well. Loads of mods plus I think they do patches (can’t remember cos I haven’t had time to play since Nov 🙁 )
