Lost it on some ice going round a corner yesterday morning and had a nice slide across the tarmac. Not much damage apart from a 5p sized hole in one arm of the sleeves of my Dyfi jacket 🙁

I’m looking to patch it but as it’s a hole and not just a tear, should I patch both sides? Also any recommendations on patches? I’ve seen the Gore Goretex ones but think they may be too thick

I’ve had great success repairing jackets of all kinds with these fellas. Three or four patches in a pack, so there’s a few spare foe next time. And any colour you want, as long as it’s black.

If you’re happy with a clear repair then McNett Tenacious tape is really useful stuff as well: http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/mcnett-gear-aid-tenacious-tape-p107605

Might also be worth asking Howies if they’ve got a fabric sample they could spare if you want a good match. You could sew it in and then Tenacious tape it, or just stick it in place with with tape.
