I’ve been getting a horrendous aching in my upper thighs along with slight pain in my back

I’ve been out of action for a while due to flu, but my core strength is rubbish anyway

Could it be due to sitting around while I was ill?

Any exercises that could alleviate it until I can get to the docs or a physio?

It’s a real dull ache, but it’s strong, makes me feel a bit sick and I’m restless

Burpees and/or Bastardos will cure this malady.

    Stretch your hip flexors?

Won’t burpees be a bit harsh on a tight back . Free up your hamstrings and piriformis first .

If it’s a dull ache down the backs of your buttocks and thighs it could be sciatica, which is caused by a back problem. I usually find that Neurofen or any Ibuprofen helps. You need to strengthen the muscles that support your spine.
