    Hello,

I changed the oil in my DT Swiss XCM 130s, and gave the air side slider a clean and oiled, and put a little oil in too.

Put back together, now the fork when compressed makes a knocking noise from the left (air) leg, and the fork bumps back up the travel… then only extends to about 100 / 110mm.

    What is going on?

There is a black plastic cup which sits on the slider, which when moved up and down sticks on the slider – as if there is a seal which is swollen and sticking… but i've fully cleaned and oil, cleaned and teflon greased… still the same issue.

Has anyone got any ideas? Emailled Pace, but no reply – haven't had the chance to give them a call in working hours.

    Thanks for any help,

    Ricks

Pace are slow in replying to emails but are very helpful on the phone, there's usually someone about who can talk you through it, try to do that.
