While back ago I went from 3×9 to 1×10 and straight to an oval 32t ring I’m looking to replace with either the same or a 30t round I’m currently running an 11-46 cassette what would be best

Suppose it depends on your cranks

If you were happy with the ratios then usually you go 2 sizes up for an oval, so 30t round sounds correct.

There all much the same, Hope if you want a bit of bling or Superstar if you want a better price.

If you are running with 104BCD cranks then an oval 30T will require slim bolts on the narrow axis of the oval, Absolute Black do one like this.

If you are running with a direct mount crankset then it’s a simple matter of swapping the chainring.

I’ve one bike with a 104BCD spider with a 32T oval chainring and one (the fat bike) with direct mount with a 28T oval.
