    Hi,
I have a race face prodigy crankset, Which i have noticed recently that the 44t outer chainring has a ding!! Is there anyway of straightening it or will it wreck/weaken it. It has loads of life left so dont really want to replace, unless i have to.

    Cheers

    Adj spanner.

as the artist formerly known as cynic-al says, an adjustable spanner fits nicely over the teeth, or deeper if it's one of the chainwheel arms that is bent, so just push in the right direction and check to see how much it has moved – you may have to bend it further than you think as it will spring back a ways. If the worst happens and a tooth snaps off it's no big deal as there are plenty more and so long as they're not too close together quite harmless
