Orbea's a funny one. They used to make roadie and off roadie bikes very well. They have recently gone into the trail / am market with the Rallon and then, more recently, the Occam.
I've ridden a Rallon. It's a nice bike. I didn't have enough time on it to say anything more than that. My friend rode one for a weekend and loved it. He almost bought it. As well, the Occam looks absolutey stunning, the one I had a look at was the top of the range carbon one and it looks like a stunning trail bike.
We see a fair number of them out here but they aren't as popular as they should be for the quality of the frames. I think this is due to them struggling to shake off their 'off roadie' image.
I know around 3-4 people with the Rallon. Never heard of any issues but that's a small sample size. Not heard any bad words about them at all through my Spanish friends.
I've visited the factory where they assemble them and have been speaking to the guys. I'm waiting to get a bike to review for my site but it's taking a while to sort out. When it comes I'll ride it for a couple of months and write a detailed review.
