Who has one or had a go yet?

    What’s the verdict?

Had a go – felt fine.
Heavy build made the bike feel fairly lifeless though.

According to this thread there’s a review in the next issue of the mag.

I’d be curious to compare one to my Gyro

Do it, it’s a wicked little bike. Really lively, rips down stuff that should really be outside of what you would expect a 110mm travel frame to handle.

I have set mine up with a cane creek rear shock, But the monarch RL the frame came with worked well. I am running rockshox revelation forks, they feel perfect and compliment it well.

It is a fair bit slacker and stiffer laterally than a gyro. The reach is also longer so you can use a shorter stem for the same reach without compromising position.

What’s it like for manuals, wheelies etc? Those stays look quite long (compared with something like a Kona or Whyte), but obviously one shouldn’t read too much into one number.

Also, what’s it like on the way up? Fun, or just something you have to winch up to enjoy the descent?

BTW – I much preferred the similar-travel Banshee Phantom. Although I had a much better test track for that.
