After coming to the realisation that I’m a hardtail fanatic I’m thinking of emptying the stable to get one decent machine, a fast, but capable, do it all, Dark Peak friendly thoroughbread.

The Orange R8 sprang to mind. Anyone got any opinions? I don’t want a hardcore trail monster hardtail, but neither something ultra jey, so must be top rank, Enduro race capable, yet singletrack thrasher esque…

PS. is it actually made in the UK? Haven’t found the time to put in any web research yet.

Orange

There is a 19″ on there that is only slightly used. Bargaintastic if it fits. I like the look of them, but I’ve always had a soft spot for Orange hardtails. Thye always look right.

I’m reliably informed that the Audi R8 is better.

More pretentious, but better.
