Got a bit heavy handed on the allen key I think and pulled the thread out of the derailleur side plate on my P7, pulled all the thread out like a spring. Any advice as to what to do?! I heard people talk of drilling the plate out and tapping a bigger thread into the plate. 🙁

You can order a new plate from the orange website easily enough, cost you about £8 I think.

You can strengthen the area by putting a bolt into the pannier rack holes as well, you need a slightly different dropout to do this but it may be worth while. My LBS (Race Co in Stourbridge) did mine for me but I think you can speak to Orange who will tell you which one you need if your LBS can’t help.
