Ok so grabbed the bike the other day and the headset feels smooth but with more resistance than usual. So I’m presuming the headset is on the way out.

Any idiots guide? I looked at a video and it showed the chap pressing in races to the head tube.

    Cheers

You should be able to replace just the bearings – very easy to do .

Or take the current ones out -gently remove the seal clean all the old grease out and re pack with fresh grease and see how that feels .

Ok I can find the full headsets to replace but surely you should just be able to buy the replacement bearings?

I can’t seem to find any

just banged (literally) a hope bottom bearing in there, alls good.
