They are described as tubeless ready so does this mean they lack the thicker side walls of UST specific tyres eg Maxxis?

I like them, tried the schwalbe tyres before and find their sidewalls too flimsy, meaning I had to pump them up too hard to keep them in shape. But the hans dampf are a bit more substantial, and can be run at lower pressures.

edit: that’s for the 26″ version, can’t see them being different in 29er form.

I’m very impressed with my 26 version tubeless on Stans Flows.

I’ve been using the 29er version now for about 2 months (with tubes) and haven’t had any issues with them so far. Had a week with Basque Mtb and only got 1 flat the whole week and its quite thorny and jaggy rocky over there. Did some big epic cairngorm rides the other week on them and they did great. Not the fastest rolling on hard pack but lots of grip on pretty much every surface I’ve been on so far.

Could be my ideal front tyre on the 29er this winter.

    The 2.35 is ENORMOUS!!!! Especially on a P35 😀

29er version is nice and grippy with thick sidewalls, stays up on flows without sealant too.

Not quite. Slightly smaller than 2.4 ardent, but way more grippy!
