anybody used these? They seem too cheap to be quality at that weight (strong / light / cheap – pick any two, or whatever the phrase is)

XT on a Cannondale Trigger. I’m 75kg fully loaded and they do the job for me.
    And they’re green!

I must admit the greenness was the main attraction but I guess they should stop the bike without disintegrating too

I’m running the same Quaxars with XT. I noticed marginally less power than the standard rotors but like a really small margin not even 5% I’d say, but other than that they are great. That’s was during an 8 hour race in sandy Rock which later experienced rain and mud too so they’ve been well tested. I’m about 80kgs fully loaded.

Just put a second set in my 29er

I’ve used Alligator windcutter and aires rotors for a while. No failures, but power was down over more solid rotors, and they didn’t play nicely with all brake/adapter combinations.

Decided that although 64g rotors were nice, they weren’t worth it.

Those Quaxars went straight on and I didn’t even need to loosed and re adjust the calipers.
