  • One-one gravel road tyres…anyone got them up tubeless?

They inflate OK (with the bonty charge pump) but despite filling with 120ml of stans now, they simply go down over night.

I’ve done the old ‘rotate and shake’ to coat the inside with latex, but clearly it’s still losing air!

Frankly, I can’t think of what else one can do – try a different solution? I mean, the latex should fill all the micro holes shouldn’t it?

I’ve had tyres that won’t seat before, but never seated then deflated…

    Ideas?

Did you clean the inside of the tyre first?
That waxy ick you get on the inside makes the stans bead up rather than wetting the surface.
10 minutes with soapy water and a scourer works wonders.

Yes, tubeless no problem here. On a Stans 355 rim (old version of Crest).

Good to know it can happen. They look like a great tyre.

TBH, I haven’t been too impressed with stans.
Wriggles – what fluid did you use? (don’t say you made your own… 😉 )
