i’m thinking of a new frame for my 13year old to replace the the identiti dr jekyll he started out on 26″ wheels with, and i’m thinking an XS one one 456 could be a good call for him size wise – and especially for me at the price they are just now.

does anyone have any views on them at all, or suggestions for other similar frames?

Been running a 45650b frame for a while, but heavy but lots of fun. Shove a decent 140mm fork on and some chunky tyres and it’s a hooligan.

Heavy, harsh. Good stable geo. Not a terrible option

I went for the 45650 so I could put big tyre in the back. 2.4″ trail king on 35mm rims softens it up a bit.

Agree that big tyres do help soften it. But at the current price point, why not. Mines had 4″, 5″ and 5″ forks, skinny tyres, fat tyres, and other changes. At the moment on 2.4″ tyres with 5″ travel

Mines about 6 years old and I love it. Definitely no frills but for the money you can’t go wrong. Mines on Revelations 140mm I think.
