The seat clamp size is 29.8 i think, but I can’t find a front mech of this diameter. Is it measured differently, or am I being a bit daft?

possibly using double butted tubing so it’s bigger at the end than further in? not sure tho.

On One Seat tubes are externally butted.

29.8 is the correct size for the seat clamp, but the front mech is a 28.6… You don’t need as much material on the seat tube down low, as you do up high to stop a fat man sat on top of a long seatpost, from snapping a frame! Simples…
