Cracking ride on Pitch and Winterfold. First MTB after a brief return to the dark side so felt a bit rusty to start with. Trails on Pitch in great condition and several months since I have been there so good to refresh with all the usuals.. Even found a new (much better RH fork) on the T trails which was a great warm up – thanks to the guy on the new slack line who mentioned it!!

Decided to try Evian, which is OK, in fact good work by the trail fairies. Even without the bomb hole, it’s fun and some nice jumps. Ok I avoided the first gap!! Odd to look at the old bomb hole with a bloody great tree in it!!

All the trails on that side were great despite all the logging.

Super Nova return was pretty dark though despit it being only 19:45!!! Nights drawing in sadly.

Sorry for the ramble, but there are days when MTB is just so great that you can’t stop smiling!!
