A couple of weeks ago I managed to do my left arm some damage in sparring- after an initial couple of hours of a fairly intense stabbing pain (which seemed to run from my bicep to my thumb) it subsided to the point where I thought it had fixed itself. I’ve had a couple off weeks off but I’m still getting some intermittent shooting pain radiating pretty much the length of my arm (although it seems to have moved from thumb side to pinky finger). Does anyone here know what it might be (I suspected it could be a trapped nerve but now not so sure), and any ideas for treatment? Can’t really get to my GP for another month or so due to work commitments…

    Don’t be silly.

Hospitals have out of hours GPs.. call your GP’s office and ask them how to proceed.

No-one should have to go without medical attention cos of work.
