    Hi,

Myself, partner and 6 month year old daughter would like a cottage anywhere really in the Peak district. We are just getting away to relax so we would like an outside area to sit in the evenings (with views if possible) and maybe a nice village pub for a pint and some food.

I think cosy, quiet and rural is what we are looking for.

Any tips also welcome for country pubs to enjoy a pint in the sun and a pub lunch.

    Thanks in advance.

    Calico Cottage?
I’ve stayed in the larger cottage next door, and found the farm quiet and relaxing.
Quite close to Hope village, although The Cheshire Cheshire is nearer.

My friends had their wedding reception at Brosterfield Farm near Foolow. It looked a lovely place to stay with great views and evening sun. The pub at Foolow looks nice (http://www.thebullatfoolow.co.uk) and not a huge distance away.
