Currently have a bit of a crunchy noise coming from the rear of my fatty, running out of possibilities now and hub is next on the list.

Struggling to identify it to work out disassembly.

Hub is branded on one, it has a red free hub and one of the end caps threads onto the axle, the other pushes onto the axle which has a slot cut into it.

I’ve got that far with disassembly but don’t want to force something by mistake.

Anyone help out? My Google fu is poor

V1 needs an Allan key to remove end caps then freehub pulls off, and V2 just pulls off.
Crunchy noise is likely just a bit of dirt on the pawls.

Definitely one unscrews as its threaded and one pushes/pulls off.

Once threaded cap is off the freehub pulls off- that’s as far as I got as the axle is not moving with gentle persuasion and I’m fearful to persuade any harder

Just a follow up to help anyone who finds themselves in the same situation.

Axle taps out happily but there’s a circlip masquerading as a rubber washer that needs removing.

DONT try and drive the bearing out in the belief it’s stuck (like I did) there are two very un obvious indentations in the rubber washer for the circlip tips to fit.

Came apart a charm once I worked that out. Luckily I think I got away with it
